I'm impressed. That's a LOT of books read! How do you do it, as busy as you are?

My Kindle is with me all the time. No joke. And I do read fast--which is not a fabulous thing when it comes to fiction. I've often wished I could read more slowly and savor.

I also read when I ought to be, say, mopping the floor. Or finishing revisions. :)

I understand the fast reading part. The better the book, the faster I read...only to regret it when I've finished the book and no longer have it to read. :)

I keep my Nook in my briefcase and I have a reading app on both my smart phone and my iPad, but I just always seem to be going and going and trying to squeeze in writing time instead.

I've read only 12 books so far this year, and had hoped to have read more by now.

I understand about squeezing in time!

One thing I've done is take my Kindle with me to the dojo. There's about half an hour every evening between the time I open and my first class. Sometimes I've calls or walk-ins, but sometimes not. I read at that time rather than write.

It's an odd book -- I had to be in the right mindset to read it -- but quite fascinating and enjoyable.
