I've just spent nearly an hour trying to post something on LJ -- something composed in Word and pasted in. No matter what, LJ refuses to acknowledge any sort of paragraph break, is randomly changing font sizes, and making a general mess that it refuses to let me fix.

I'm damned near done with the thing.

I've never been able to get LJ to accept a document straight from word. I always single space and then double between paragraphs and put in my html before I paste it in.

I wish it was easier.

In the past I've been able to paste it in, then make it work with minimal monkeying. Alas, this time, no amount of monkeying would fix it.

I finally published it over at WordPress, then copied the blog post as plain text and reinserted all the other stuff. Sigh.
