Decisions, Decisions...
Dec. 14th, 2012 09:37 amThese past couple weeks have felt like a frantic relay race in which I'm the only runner, having to hand off each task to... myself. Sigh.
Aside from dojo busy-ness (which is busier than we expected it to be this time of year), keeping Dev pushing ahead with school, and addressing various crisis points...
I'm working on too many writing projects at one time. They all need to be done, and they all should be done. I want to work on them all. But working with five open documents at once is not, apparently, on my list of talents. Thus I have to prioritize, and prioritizing means weighing the importance between projects that produce higher income and projects that give greater satisfaction.
Since my recent conversations with Dev have been about self-discipline--the mature act of finishing obligations before skipping out for fun--I suppose I must set a good example.
Damn.
But it would be all right, wouldn't it, if I kept myself going with the dream of hopping in an RV and setting out crosscountry?
